Lunascape
Lunascape Kyoko Baertsoen and Walter Hilhorst haven’t been sitting still since the release of Lunascape’s 2002 debut album, ‘Reflecting Seyelence’ from which the four singles ‘Tears From The Moon, ‘Sequoia’, ‘My Second Skin’ and ‘Yairo’ were taken. After this first album, its successor has now been released: ‘Mindstalking’. Why that title? The group would like to tell you.
It is clear that Walter en Kyoko, the creative heart of Lunascape, have taken the lead. There are no big names on the producer’s chair; Kyoko and Walter were personally responsible. It was a good choice, as a new identity can be admired in ‘Mindstalking’.
The album also highlights a new collaboration with BMG Publishing and CNR Records/Roadrunner. From now on Lunascape can depend on two partners who appreciate the group’s international character.
That Lunascape’s music has international allure was already evident in the past. After a first experience with the medium ‘film’; (remember the song ‘Lane Navachi’ in the 3D Imax film ‘Haunted Castle’, with Kyoko starring in the roles of both mother and Lane Navachi), Lunascape also wrote an exclusive track for ‘SOS Planet’, a 3D Imax film on the loss of mother earth. Both films are still featured in Imax cinema theatres around the world. The band:

- Walter Hilhorst: guitar, keys, programming
- Kyoko Baertsoen: vocals
- Laurent Stelleman: guitar
- Wouter Berlaen: bass and double bass
- Didier Devogelas: drums
